Friday 16th September

A Buskers Evening featuring Simon Aldridge.

We are very excited to announce that Simon Aldrige (lead guitarist /vocalist with Edison Lighthouse) will be playing at Buskers this Friday (16th September).

Call 01908 310165 to book.

Simon Aldridge is a well respected multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter that’s been around on the music scene for over 45 years.
As long time lead guitarist /vocalist with Edison Lighthouse, he is still to this day very active on the name bands circuit, appearing regularly at large festivals, all the major holiday camps including all the Butlins centre stages, plus provincial theatres, often sharing the bill with other major 60’s bands that are still actively gigging.
Simon also plays drums with The Foundations and has been a long time friend Alan Warner, their original lead guitarist, in various guises and sizes of The Alan Warner Band. With his ability to sing & drum at same time, Simon’s drumming skills are much in demand, including with Gidea Park, the 80’s chart topping band. He’s also to be seen regularly on drums with the resident band at The Criterion Theatre.
Simon plays bass & sings in Ray Martin’s 60’s Allstars, a band made up of top players from several famous 60’s band. He’s also bass /vocalist with Grand Canyon, one of the most established Country Music bands around. From time to time, he also plays lead guitar with The Kevin Duffy Country Band, a well respected family name in Country music.
In-between his very busy schedule, Simon occasionally performs a solo acoustic show known as “Hats Off To James”, specialising in the music of James Taylor. He has now added to this the music of Paul Simon, Justin Hayward, Lennon-McCartney and a smattering of his own compositions. It is this intimate show that Simon is bringing to Buskers on 16th Sept. His intricate guitar work & distinctive voice combine with his dry wit & anecdotes to make a thoroughly entertaining evening. A mature artist, still at the top of his game, not to be missed.

Our supper clubs are more like a big dinner party. We like big tables to make the event a really sociable occassion.

We are fully licensed with a carefully selected range of wines, beers and spirits on offer.

Reeds are a Pop/Rock group from Milton Keynes. Combining elements of soulful vocals, punked up energy and feet shuffling beats.
